There is little to be gained by denying that the GLOCK 17 sets the standard by which almost every GLOCK is judged.
So, the G22 is slightly longer, at 7.95 inches overall compared to the 17's 7.32 inches.
The grip is wider for the larger .40 S&W cartridge, but this won't be a problem for most shooters, even with small hands.
